My oldest 'little' girl, Savannah, turned 3 this month! A month after the birth of her little sister, Olivia. Of course, with all the commotion of having a newborn in the house, we were looking for a fun way to celebrate her big day that didn't involve a big party at the house... cause let's face it, those parties at the house can be quite the chore, both physically and financially!
Luckily, I found the perfect party... in the form of a tea party for little girls. Visiting one of our local Rockwall children boutique stores, "Peek-A-Boo Boutique", I discovered that they had recently added a business partner named Holly, who brought with her a brilliant concept... throwing parties for little girls! Holly let Savvy play with all her dress-up clothes and run a bit wild before we had to leave. I was hooked and booked her party that day!
Fast-forward to the day! It was amazing! Seven little girls sitting around a table drinking 'tea' all dressed up in their favorite princess costume. They had makeup on their gorgeous little faces and were preparing to go parade outside down the sidewalk. Holly did a fantastic job, maintaining complete control and seamlessly moving from one event to the next and keeping the girls entertained. For the first time ever, I actually sat back and enjoyed watching my baby girl have a great time.
